Boxing SA AGM
All members of Boxing SA Inc. are cordially invited to attend the Association’s 2019 Annual General Meeting.
Please notify the President of Boxing SA Inc. by 5.00pm on Friday 14th February 2020 if you will be attending.
Voting by Proxy Form for Financial members is attached and must be with the President no later than 5.00pm on Friday 14th February 2020.
Committee positions declared vacant and any member wishing to nominate a person for a position is required to complete the enclosed Nomination Form including acceptance by their nominee and return it to the President no later than 5.00pm on Friday 14th February 2020.
Information for applicants regarding the positions is included with this notice. Positions vacant will be: Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and two Committee Members.
Attached is a document explaining BSA committee member duties, roles and responsibilities.
All committee member positions are a voluntary position. Boxing SA is the State Governing Body for the sport of amateur boxing in South Australia. As per the Boxing SA constitution, to be eligible to hold a position as a committee member for Boxing SA you must be a Financial member of Boxing SA Inc for a minimum of 12 months.
A person shall be eligible to become a financial member of Boxing SA if they are a resident of Australia; is 18years of age or older; is of good character; is not of unsound mind, or a person or estate is liable to be dealt with in any way under a law of South Australia; is not a Professional
For any notice of motion to be considered it must be placed in writing, by a 2019 financial member, to the President of Boxing SA Inc not less than 7 days prior to the Annual General Meeting.
