Development Camp May 2017
South Australian regional development coach Dan Peace will be running a development camp on the 20th and 21st of May 2017.
The camp will be held at the West Central Boxing Club, 15A Vintage St, Underdale and is open to novice and intermediate boxers.
The first session will start on Saturday the 20th at noon, running for approximately one hour.
Session 1 will be the Boxing Australia content, including shadow boxing rounds with footwork, punching drills and some set shadow boxing rounds.
Session 2 will start at 2pm, with the same content but on the punching equipment, including bags etc.
Sunday's first session, session 3 on chalk floor patterns, will commence at 10am.
The final and fourth session, starting at noon, is on conditioning sparring.
It would be ideal for boxers to be available for all of the sessions, as one session will lead into another.
Boxers will need to bring all of their training gear (head guards, mouth guards etc.) water and some food. All boxers must also be registered as a competitor or non-competitor to attend the camp.
